How to Recover Deleted Files from AWS EC2 Easily?
In order to recover or restore deleted files from AWS EC2, we must try following steps.
1. Check the trash or recycle bin of the affected EC2 instance: If you have accidentally deleted a file, it may be in the trash or recycle bin of the EC2 instance. Check these locations first before attempting any other recovery methods.
2. Use the Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) snapshot: If you have enabled EBS snapshot for the EC2 instance, you can use the snapshot to restore the deleted files. Go to the EC2 dashboard and select the instance, then click on "Create Image" to create a new snapshot. Once the snapshot is created, you can use it to launch a new instance with the deleted files restored.
3. Use a data recovery tool: There are various data recovery tools available that can be used to recover deleted files from an EC2 instance. Some popular options include Recuva, EaseUS Data Recovery, and Disk Drill.
4. Use the AWS Data Lifecycle Manager (DLM): If you have enabled DLM for the EC2 instance, you can use it to recover deleted files. Go to the DLM dashboard and select the instance, then click on "Create Snapshot" to create a new snapshot. Once the snapshot is created, you can use it to launch a new instance with the deleted files restored.
